Aquila Air & Heating uses SMS to communicate directly with customers who have voluntarily opted in to receive customer service messages. Messages may include appointment confirmations and reminders, technician arrival updates, service-related follow-ups, estimate or scheduling communications, and responses to customer inquiries. Messages are only sent to customers who have provided consent to receive communications from Aquila Air & Heating. Customers can opt out at any time by replying STOP or request assistance by replying HELP. Customers opt in through the Aquila Air & Heating website by entering their mobile phone number and voluntarily selecting an unchecked checkbox agreeing to receive SMS messages regarding appointments, scheduling, service updates, and customer support. SMS consent is optional and is separate from acceptance of the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy. Customers can complete the website form without consenting to SMS. SPONSOR The Aquila Air & Heating Veterans HVAC Giveaway (“Giveaway”) is sponsored by: Aquila Air & Heating 360 Hula Circle Merritt Island, FL 32952 Email: Todd@aquilaairandheating.com Aquila Air & Heating is referred to as the “Sponsor.” This Giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, any branch of the United States military, or any governmental agency. 2. PURPOSE The Aquila Veterans Giveaway is a community program created to recognize and assist a deserving U.S. military veteran who needs a replacement residential heating and air-conditioning system. Aquila Air & Heating intends this program to support veterans within the communities it serves. 3. GIVEAWAY PERIOD Nominations and voting begin: October 1, 2026 Nominations and voting end: October 31, 2026 at 11:59 PM Eastern Time The winning veteran will be announced and recognized in connection with Veterans Day, November 11, 2026, at the planned presentation at the Cocoa VFW, subject to the final event schedule. 4. WHO MAY BE NOMINATED The Giveaway is open to qualifying U.S. military veterans who: Are at least 18 years old; Reside in Brevard County, Florida; Are a qualifying U.S. military veteran; Have a residential HVAC system that reasonably requires replacement or qualifying HVAC assistance; Own the residence or have authorization from the property owner for installation; and Meet the applicable installation requirements. A veteran may nominate themselves. A veteran may also be nominated by a family member, friend, coworker, veterans organization, VFW organization, community organization, or another person familiar with the veteran’s circumstances. 5. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY No purchase, payment, service call, maintenance agreement, financing agreement, donation, or other consideration is required to enter or win. Purchasing products or services from Aquila Air & Heating will not increase a nominee’s chances of winning. 6. HOW TO ENTER Nominations must be submitted through the official Aquila Air & Heating Veterans Giveaway entry form. The nomination form may request information reasonably necessary to administer the Giveaway, including: Veteran’s name Contact information City Military service information Description of the veteran’s HVAC situation Why the veteran needs assistance Nominator information, when applicable Incomplete or knowingly false submissions may be rejected. 7. PUBLIC VOTING Eligible nominees will be displayed on the official Aquila Air & Heating Veterans Giveaway webpage. The public may vote for eligible nominees during the voting period. Voting period: October 1, 2026 through October 31, 2026 at 11:59 PM Eastern Time. Voting limit: One (1) vote per IP address. Votes must be submitted through the official Aquila Air & Heating voting system. The veteran receiving the highest number of valid votes at the end of the voting period will be designated the potential winner, subject to eligibility and verification. 8. INVALID OR FRAUDULENT VOTES The use of bots, scripts, automated voting systems, purchased votes, vote exchanges, fraudulent accounts, or other artificial methods intended to manipulate the voting process is prohibited. Aquila Air & Heating may investigate suspicious voting activity and may remove votes that it reasonably determines were generated through prohibited or fraudulent means. Aquila will not knowingly manipulate the voting results to favor a particular nominee. If the Sponsor determines that a nominee’s votes were materially affected by fraudulent voting, the Sponsor may disqualify the affected votes and/or nominee in accordance with these Official Rules and applicable law. 9. TIE If two or more eligible veterans receive the same highest number of valid votes, the Sponsor will use the following tie-breaking procedure: The tied nominees will be subject to a random drawing conducted by the Sponsor to determine the potential winner. The drawing will occur after the voting period has closed and the tied nominees’ eligibility has been verified. 10. VETERAN VERIFICATION Before the prize is awarded, the potential winner must verify qualifying U.S. military veteran status. Aquila may request reasonable documentation sufficient to verify military service. Sensitive documentation will be handled privately and will not be publicly displayed. Failure to provide reasonably requested verification may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate recipient. 11. THE PRIZE The winner will receive: ONE NEW HVAC SYSTEM WITH PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION The HVAC system will be selected based upon the requirements of the winning residence and applicable installation conditions. The approximate retail value of the prize will be: $4,999.00 The final equipment selection may depend upon: Required system capacity Existing HVAC configuration Electrical requirements Ductwork Refrigerant lines Property configuration Applicable building and mechanical codes 12. INSTALLATION Aquila Air & Heating will evaluate the winning property before installation. The property must be reasonably suitable for installation. The winner must own the property or have legally sufficient authorization from the property owner. The Sponsor may require necessary permits, inspections, access to the property, and compliance with applicable building, mechanical, electrical, and safety requirements. 13. ITEMS NOT INCLUDED Unless specifically stated otherwise in the final prize description, the prize does not necessarily include extraordinary work such as: Major ductwork replacement Extensive duct modifications Electrical service upgrades Structural modifications Roof repairs Attic remediation Hazardous-material removal Extensive refrigerant-line replacement Crane services Major code corrections unrelated to the standard installation Repairs to unrelated portions of the property Other extraordinary work caused by existing property conditions Any significant installation limitations will be disclosed following the property evaluation. 14. WINNER NOTIFICATION The potential winner will be contacted using the information provided with the nomination. The potential winner may be required to complete eligibility verification and reasonable prize-acceptance documentation. If the potential winner: Cannot be contacted; Does not respond within the specified period; Cannot verify veteran status; Does not satisfy the property requirements; Declines the prize; or Is otherwise determined to be ineligible, the Sponsor may select an alternate eligible recipient. 15. VETERANS DAY PRESENTATION The winner will be recognized in connection with Veterans Day, November 11, 2026. Aquila Air & Heating plans to conduct the presentation at the Cocoa VFW. The presentation date and location may be subject to the final event schedule. The winner’s attendance at the presentation will not be required to receive the prize unless otherwise stated in the final rules. 16. VETERANS ORGANIZATIONS Aquila may work with the Cocoa VFW and other veterans/community organizations to promote the Giveaway, receive nominations, identify potential nominees, and participate in the Veterans Day presentation. Participation by a veterans organization does not guarantee that a particular nominee will win. 17. PUBLICITY With appropriate consent and to the extent permitted by law, Aquila may photograph or record the winner and the HVAC installation for use in: Aquila’s website Social media Advertising Community announcements News releases Future Veterans Giveaway promotions Aquila will obtain appropriate consent before using identifiable photographs, video, testimonials, or personal stories. 18. SMS/TEXT MESSAGES Agreeing to receive promotional text messages is not required to enter or win. Any SMS consent will be collected separately from the Giveaway entry. Message frequency varies. FRAUDULENT ENTRIES Aquila may reject or disqualify submissions that it reasonably determines are: Fraudulent; Knowingly false; Automated; Duplicated in violation of these rules; Submitted outside the Giveaway Period; or Otherwise materially inconsistent with these Official Rules. 21. PRIZE TRANSFER The prize is non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash. The winner may not sell or transfer the prize. If particular equipment becomes unavailable, Aquila may substitute equipment of equal or greater value, subject to applicable law. 22. TAXES Any federal, state, or local taxes associated with receiving the prize are the responsibility of the winner. The winner may be required to provide information necessary for applicable tax reporting. 23. FLORIDA REQUIREMENTS Because this promotion involves a potentially high-value HVAC prize, Aquila Air & Heating will comply with applicable Florida game-promotion requirements. If the total announced prize value exceeds $5,000, the Sponsor should complete all applicable Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services filing and security requirements before the promotion begins. The final prize value must therefore be established before the Giveaway launches. 24. CHANGES The Sponsor may make changes to the Giveaway only when reasonably necessary because of circumstances beyond the Sponsor’s reasonable control, technical problems, legal requirements, safety concerns, or circumstances that make administration of the Giveaway impracticable. The Sponsor will not change the winner-selection process simply to favor a particular nominee. 25.
